Bal Pharma Limited continues to strengthen its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through focused sustainability initiatives. The company is nearing completion of its 1.5 MW captive solar power project. To ensure reliable tracking, ABT meters have been installed for precise monitoring and adjustment of solar power usage.
In parallel, Bal Pharma Limited has partnered with rePurpose Global, committing to recover 60,000 kg of plastic waste in India equivalent to roughly 4.12 crore Paracetamol blister strips. This initiative supports responsible waste management and reinforces the company's efforts toward a circular economy.

Materiality Assessment
In FY 2024–25, Bal Pharma conducted its first Materiality Assessment in line with GRI Standards 2021. The exercise involved industry benchmarking, global ESG trend analysis, and internal stakeholder consultations. Material topics were prioritized based on business impact and stakeholder relevance. The outcomes guide Bal Pharma’s sustainability strategy, disclosures, and performance monitoring.
rePurpose
Bal Pharma Limited has partnered with rePurpose to recover 60,000 kg of plastic waste in India as part of its ESG commitment. We have contributed to improving primary healthcare infrastructure by donating essential medical equipment to local healthcare centers. To support education, we provide scholarships to economically disadvantaged students, enabling them to continue their academic journey. Adarsh Vidyasangh
Bal Pharma supports education in the local community by providing scholarships to economically disadvantaged students studying at the Adarsh Group of Institutions, in association with Adarsh Vidyasangh.
Medical Equipment Donation
Bal Pharma, in association with Rotary Bangalore Brigades, donated essential medical equipment to primary healthcare centers, supporting improved access to basic healthcare services for local communities.
Mathrushree Manovikasa Kendra
Bal Pharma supports the medical and medicine expenses of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Mathrushree Manovikasa Kendra, contributing to inclusive healthcare and community well being.
Jain Mission Hospital
As part of our community health initiatives, Bal Pharma supported one month of free dialysis treatment for patients with kidney malfunction, in association with Jain Mission Trust, Chikkaballapur. This initiative aimed to improve access to essential, life-sustaining healthcare for patients in need.
